Wendy Volkmar - Portraits and Figures

Wendy Volkmar was born in Elmhurst, IL and has lived in the Midwest nearly all her life. She has been blissfully married for over 22 years and is the stay-at-home mom of five children. She has lived in Carmel, IN for over 10 years.

Wendy began painting several years ago, and her artistic ability and passion have grown much during those years. She is a member of the Hoosier Salon and has shown paintings at the Indianapolis Art Center in Broad Ripple.

Wendy’s style of painting is very fresh and textural because of her liberal use of paint and her love of capturing the “essence” of each unique personality that she paints.
